AN ORDINANCE _APPROVING THE. FINAL -REPORT OF T.HE, PADUCAH PLAN-
NING COMMISSION RESPECTING., THE. REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED IN CHEROKEE
HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION,. (TRACT #1); HIGHWAY 45 (TRACT #2); AND NOLAN DRIVE
AREA (TRACT #3) ,- .AND .AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING- ORDINANCE. - 1976 SO AS
TO EFFECT.- SUCH. REZONING,
BE -IT ORDAINED BY _ THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF - THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION l . That a resolution -adopted by the_ Paducah Planning Commission
on August 20,. _1979, entitled,. "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF
THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED IN CHEROKEE HEIGHTS. SUBDIVISION (TRACT #1); HIGHWAY 45 _(TRACT
#2); AND NOLAN DRIVE AREA (TRACT #3)"; be approved as the final report of said
Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2 That the zone, classification ;change and _the. map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be_ in agree-
ment with the .comprehensive plan of, the City . of Paducah.
SECTION 3,.._ That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-1, Low Density„Residential Zone, to R-2, HBD
and R-4:

Beginning at a-, point In the north. right, of . way line o£ North Friend-
ship Road (KY 1286) , said point being the northwest corner of. the
W. C. Horton property; thence in an easterly direction along the
north property. _ line of the, W. -C ..Horton -prop erty- to a point -on- -the
west side of the Jonquilawn Subdivision; thence in a southerly di -
..rection .to a point . located_ .ax the southwest corner of _ said- subdivision;
thence in an easterly direction along the south property line of the

the Cherokee Highlands Subdivision, to a point projected to the
._centerline of US 45: (Lone 04k Road); . thence in a southerly -direction
with the centerline of US 45 to the intersection of the centerline of
Mohawk Drive; thence in a westerly direction along the centerline.
of Mohawk Drive to a point, said point being the intersection of
the centerline of Mohawk Drive and. the .projection of the west pro- .
perty line of the Dr. Francis Abell property; thence in a southerly
.direction along Dr.: Francis Abell' s. west.: property, line to, -a -point
at the southwest corner of said property, said point being -located
on the north property line of the Mt. Kenton Cemetery, _,property;
thence in a westerly direction along the north property line of the
Mt. Kenton Cemetery and the south property line of Cherokee High-
lands Subdivision to the east right of way line of the North Friend-
ship Road; thence in a westerly direction to a point, said point
being the south corner, of. Lot -Number 1, Block "I", in the Cherokee
Highlands Subdivision; thence in a westerly direction with the
right of way line of ...North Friendship Road to.. the southwest cor-
ner of the property now or formerly owned by Charles R. McClure;
thence in a northerly direction with.. the•east right ofway dine of
North Friendship Road to the point of beginning.

Beginning at the intersection of the north right of way line of Bleich
Road and the east right of way line of US 45 (Lone Oak Road);

thence in a northerly direction with the east right of way line of
US 45 (Lone Oak Road) to a point, said point being the north pro-
perty line of Mt. Kenton Cemetery property projected across US 45
(Lone Oak Road); thence. in. a;westerly direction with, the projection
across US 45 (Lone Oak Road) and the north property line of Mt.
Kenton Cemetery to a point in the west . property line of Dr. Francis
Abell property; thence in a northerly direction along the west' pro-
perty, line• of the Dr.. Francis Abell _property extended. to., the. center-
line 'of Mohawk Drive; thence in an easterly direction with the
centerline of Mohawk Drive ;to a_ point in, the. centerline of US 45 r_
(Lone Oak Road); thence in a northerly direction with the centerline
of US 45 (Lone Oak Road) to the intersection of, the -south right of
way line of I-24 extended; thence with said south ' right of way line

thence in a southerly direction along the east property line of the
Electric Plant Board property projected to the centerline, of Nolan

ly direction with the north right of way line of Bleich Road to the

Tract #3 (R-2)
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Elmdale Road and _ the north
right. of way line of Bleich Road; thence in a westerly -direction
along the north right of way line of Bleich Road to a point. in the
west property line of the Anna Petter property; thence in a north-
erly direction with the west property line of the Anna Petter pro-
perty to a point in the centerline of an unnamed street in Phillips
Park Subdivision, if projected; . thence in a westerly direction, and
with the centerline of said unnamed street to a point in --the-: east

if extended; thence in a northerly direction with the east right of

Nolan Drive; thence in a northerly direction with the east property

beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section', paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be ` inoperative, ineffective or invalid for' any cause, the deficiency
section, paragraph or provision shall -not' affect . any other section,
or invalidity of such _ _
paragraph or provision"hereof,, it being the purpose and intent' of this ordinance to
make each and every 'section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all
