ORDINANCE
APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE
PADUCAH PLANNING
COMMISSION
RESPECTING
THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT U.S. HIGHWAY
60 and I-24, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE 1976 SO AS TO EFFECT
SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. ":'That b. resolution- -adopted 'by the Paducah,'Planning Com-
mission on June .26 `1979, entitled ►rA R-E:S"OLUTION-` CONSTITUTING THE1 FINAL REPORT
OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY
LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 60 WEST OF I-24 INTERCHANGE" be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-1, Low Density Residential Zone, to M-1, Light Industrial
Zone and HBD , Highway Business District:
R-1 to H.B:D.
Beginning at a point in the centerline of U.S. 60 West (Hinkleville
Road) said point being Hwy. Centerline Station #78 + 89.30; thence
north 1 degree 40 minutes east 373.24 feet to a point; thence north 64
degrees 49 minutes east 529.49 feet to a point, thence north 49 degrees
10 minutes east 110.50 feet to a point; thence north 61 degrees 42 minutes
east 593.29 feet to a point; thence south 0 degrees 05 minutes east 44.96
feet to a point; thence south 64 degrees 49 minutes west 75.0 feet to a
point; thence south 0 degrees 05 minutes east 391.22 feet to a point in
the centerline of U.S. 60 said point being Centerline Station #67 +
52.30; thence south 64 degrees 49 minutes west and along the centerline
of U.S. 60 1137.0 feet to the point of beginning, containing 9.25 acres.
R-1 to M-1
Beginning at a point in the west line of the Potter Property said
point being located north 1 degree 40 minutes east and 373.24 feet from
centerline station #78 + 89.30 of U.S. 60; thence north 1 degree
40 minutes east and along the west line of the Potter property 1232.06
feet to a point; thence south 82 degrees 38 minutes east 638.4 feet to a
point; thence north 16 degrees 44 minutes east 903.8 feet to a point;
thence south 81 degrees 18 minutes east 155.7 feet to a point; thence
south 0 degrees 05 minutes east 1412.83 feet to a point; thence south
61 degrees 42 minutes west 593.29 feet to a point; thence south 49
degrees 10 minutes west 110.50 feet to a point; thence south 64 degrees
49 minutes west 529.49 feet to the point of beginning, containing 27.41
acres.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof

separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
