ORDINANCE NO. 79-6-1761
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 27-12 OF CHAPTER 27, REFUSE, OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH , KENTUCKY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH , KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Section 27-12 of Chapter 27, Refuse, of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and it is hereby, amended and re -
ordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall hereafter read as follows:
"Sec. 27-12. Same - Use charge.
Private collectors authorized to collect refuse in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, and private commercial collectors operating within the limits of McCracken
County, Kentucky, shall be licensed upon their application to the City Treasurer to
dispose of collected waste and refuse at the city's sanitary landfill upon the pur-
chase of a dumping license as follows:
(a) For vehicles capable of carrying eight (8) cubic yards or less,
there shall be a dumping fee of $6.40 °per entry into the 1andfill'
for the purpose of dumping refuse;
(b) For vehicles with a load capacity from eight (8) yards up to and
including sixteenr (16) `yards;`a -dumping -fees of- $12.80' per entry
into the landfill for the purpose of dumping refuse;
(c) For vehicles with a capacity from sixteen (16) up to and includ-
'a dumpig fee of ' 16.00per entry -twenty,:2) cubicyardsing
into the landfill for the purpose of dumping refuse;
(d) For vehicles with a capacity from twenty (20) yards up to and
including thirty o.(30) . yards, a fee of $24.OV er entr-y into the
landfill for the purpose of dumping refuse;
(e) For vehicles with a capacity from thirty (30) yards up to and
including forty (40) yards, a fee of $32.00 per entry into the
landfill for the purpose of dumping refuse;
(f) For all vehicles- with a capacity in excess of forty (40) cubic
yards, the dumping fee shall be negotiated with the city manager.
(g) The foregoing license fees shall be paid to the City Treasurer
who shall issue coupon booklets to the licensee based on size of
vehicle. Individual co tpons-sthall 'be -collected by- City 4inployees
at the landfill and returned periodically to the City Treasurer
or verification_ of records.-

SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 75-7-1146, adopted by
the Board of Commissioners on July 1, 1975.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect as of
October 1, 1979.
