HomeMy WebLinkAboutConvention Center and Hotel Urban Development Action Grant270 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS REQUIRED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT BY REASON OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH'S URBAN DEVELOPMENT ACTION GRANT ,. (B-78-AB-21-0001) IN CONNECTION WITH THE DOWNTOWN CONVENTION CENTER AND HOTEL PROJECT WHEREAS , the City of Paducah has applied for and received funding approval under Section 119 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1974, as amended; and WHEREAS , the Department of Housing and Urban Development has required that the City of Paducah enter into various written agreements and legally binding commitments pursuant to the terms of the Grant Agreement, and WHEREAS , in the opinion of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah , Kentucky , it is in the best interests of the City to execute said documents . NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY ~OF PADUCAI~,KENTUCKY' ~' ~ "}° " `' " ' " SECTION 1.
