ORDINANCE NO. 79-6-1757
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT
1601 BLOOM AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -
1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Com-
mission on June 18, 1979, entitled "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1601 BLOOM AVENUE", be approved as the final
report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agree-
ment with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone, to M-2, Heavy
Industrial Zone:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the center lines of Paxton
Street and Bloom Avenue; thence in a westerly direction and with
the center line of Paxton Street 185 feet; thence at right angles and
in a southerly direction With the center line ' of a 20 foot alley 135
feet; thence at right angles and in an easterly direction, with the
lines separating the lands of George Dupree from the lands of Hil-
ton Hawes, 185 feet to the center line of Bloom Avenue; thence in
a northerly direction and with the center line of Bloom Avenue
135 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph .or provision hereof, it ?b-eing- the"purpose. acid intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
