A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
FINANCE DIRECTOR TO PAY $30,000.00 TO BARBEQUE ON THE RIVER, INC.,
FOR LEGAL AND START-UP COSTS
Whereas, the FY2010 Budget includes $30,000 in the investment fund to
support this summer's Barbeque on the River; and,
Whereas, the City Ordinance establishing Paducah Renaissance Alliance,
which in the Ordinance is called the Zone Board, provides that Renaissance will conduct
an annual Barbeque on the River festival; and,
Whereas, Paducah Renaissance Alliance is contracting with a new
organization, Barbeque on the River, Inc. to conduct this summer's Barbeque on the
River Festival.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Finance Director of the City of Paducah, Kentucky
is hereby authorized to pay $30,000 to Barbeque on the River, Inc., upon execution of the
contract between Paducah Renaissance Alliance and Barbeque on the River, Inc.
budget.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Investment Fund
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
