AN. ORDINANCE. ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF JOE ASKEW, SINGLE, 811
BACHMAN STREET, TO "PURCHASE THE INTEREST OF THE CITY IN PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 1335 SOUTH EIGHTH STREET, FOR -THE SUM OF $588.00, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE` MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Joe Askew, in the amount of $588.00 to
purchase the interest of the City in the following described land in said City be
accepted, said land being described as follows:
A certain lot or parcel of land lying and being in the City
of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, and more parti-
cularly described as follows. Being Lot 'No . ' 12, Block No.
3, Addition 2, as shown by Alcott's map of the City of
Paducah Kentucky, said lot fronting 40 feef on the West
side of 8th Street and running back for depth 160 feet to-
wards 9th Street to an alley.
Being 'the' -same -property conveyed t0 the, City of Paducah by
Dalton A. Woodall, Master Commissioner, by deed dated
December 14, 1964,' and recorded in Deed Book 462, Page
617, in the McCracken County Court Clerk's Office.
SECTION 2. Upon the payment of the sum of '$588.00 (plus $6.00 for
recording fee to be paid by the City) to the City Treasurer, the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby z authorized and directed to convey to Joe Askew, all of the right,
title and interest of the City in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that
said deed of conveyance shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to
title and shall be subject to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate
survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
