ORDINANCE NO. 79-4-1719
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF A. C. ELECTRIC FOR THE
MATERIALS AND INSTALLATION OF ALL NECESSARY ELECTRICAL WORK IN THE
CITY HALL ANNEX, FOR THE SUM OF $5,845.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH SERVICE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of A. C. Electric
for the
materials and installation
of all
necessary electrical work in the City Hall
Annex,
for the sum of $5,845.00,
said
bid being in substantial compliance with
the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by resolution
passed
by the
Board of Commissioners
on February 27, 1979, and as contained in
the bid
of A.
C. Electric, dated March
26, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with A. C. Electric for the materials and installation of all
electrical work necessary in the City Hall Annex, according to the specifications,
bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the
bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase of said services authorized in Section 1 above,
shall be charged to Contingent Fund, Account No. 9094.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one
week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and
if adopted shall be in full force and effect immediately thereafter.
