ORDINANCE NO. 79-3-1699
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ACE COOLING AND HEATING
FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A NEW HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM
IN THE CITY HALL ANNEX, FOR THE SUM OF $9,500.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.� That the City accept the bid of Ace Cooling and Heating for
the purchase and installation of a new heating and cooling system in the City Hall
Annex, for the sum of $9,500.00, said bid being in substantial compliance with the
bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Resolution passed
by the Board of Commissioners on February 13, 1979, and as contained in the bid of
Ace Cooling and Heating dated February 21, 1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he -is hereby, authorized to
execute a contract with Ace Heating and Cooling for the purchase and installation
of the -heating and cooling system authorized in Section 1 above according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract 'documents heretofore approved and
incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase and installation of said heating and cooling system
shall be charged to General Fund Account No. 1712.
SECTION 4. An emergency is declared 'to exist and this- ordinance shall
therefore be introduced and remain on file for public inspection for at least one week
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage and if adopted
shall be in full force, and effect immediately thereafter.
