ORDINANCE NO. 79-1-1678
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF LESLIE RINGSTAFF AND WIFE,
BARBARA RINGSTAFF , 1024 SOUTH 11TH STREET, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST
OF THE CITY IN 1630 BROAD STREET, FOR THE SUM OF $750.00, AND AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the offer of Leslie Ringstaff and wife, Barbara Ring -
staff, in the amount of $750.00 to purchase the interest of the City in the following
described land in said City be accepted, said land being described as follows:
A lot known as 1630 Broad Street, fronting 41 feet
8 inches on the east- -side thereof and running back
125 feet on the north side of 5th Street, and as
-- shown on page 20 of Block Map, Book No. 5 in the
office of the City Engineer. See Deed Book C.D. 6,
page 188.
Being the same -land: (Mary -A' -Bolger) conveyed to
the City of Paducah on October 14, 1975 by Ben-
- gamin C. LeRoy; Treasurer, -by- deed -of record in
Deed Book 575, Page 628, in the McCracken County
Court Clerk's Office
SECTION 2,. - Upon the payment of the sum of $750.00 (plus $6.00 for
recording fee to be paid by -the City) to the City : Treasurer , the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to' convey to Leslie Ringstaff and wife,
Barbara Ringstaff, in -survivorship, all- of the right', title and interest' of the City
in the property described in Section 1 hereof and that - said deed of ' conveyance `-
shall be quitclaim only, shall contain no warranty as to title and shall be subject
to any state of facts as might be shown by an accurate survey.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
