ORDINANCE NO. 79-1-1676
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON
BLOOM AVENUE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE - 1976 SO
AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Com-
mission on January 15, 1979, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL
REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING
OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON BLOOM AVENUE", be approved as the final report
of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amend-
ment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be
in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential to M-2, Heavy
Industrial Zone:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Bloom Avenue
125 feet north of the. -intersection of -the -center- lines of:.:
Bloom Avenue and Paxton Street; thence with the center
line ,of Bloom Avenue,,and in a northerly direction, 2-00,
feet; thence at right angles and in an easterly direction,
with the .line separating the properties of Baker. and,,.
Wimberly approximately 198 feet to the center line of an
alley;: thence at- right ,angles and with --the- center -line line -of.
said alley in a southerly direction 200 feet; thence at
right angles and in a westerly .direction; along the line
separating the properties of Wimberly from the properties
of Griffin Peck-,- and Carter-, -approximately 198 feet to
the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency
or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other
section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other section, paragraphs and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its adoption.
