Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copy of the contract between the City of Paducah and Emulsified Asphalt Company,) be received and filed, and that the performance bond required by said contract, executed' by said Company as principal and Forrest Sherer Agency, Inc. of Terre Haute, Indiana as surety be received, approved and filed. Cox be terminated as a truck driver in the street division of the Public --Works Department; ands re-employed--a-s-;a temporary- laborer yin -:said division, at a salary of $2.00 per hour, effective August 10, -1971. 2. Harold A. Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF APPROXIMATELY 40,000 SQUARE YARDS OF BITUMINOUS SLURRY SURFACE AND INSTALLATION ON CITY OF PADUCAH STREETS, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE", be adopted.
