ORDINANCE NO. 83-11-2442
AN ORDINANCE APPROVINGzTHE FINAL REPORT OF '.THE PADUCAH PLANNING COM-
MISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON LITTLE AVENUE IN LITTLE-
VILLE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH RE-
ZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: -'-
SECTION 1. That a -resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commis-
sion on October 17, 1983,:�,entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT
OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING GOMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
ON LITTLE AVENUE IN LITTLEVITIE", be approved as the final report of said
Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That thezone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in
_.,agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be,
and it is hereby, changed from R-4, High Density Residential Zone to M-2, Heavy
Industrial Zone:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Little Avenue, said
point being 410 feet north of Chester Hack Drive (Fulton Street);
thence in a westerly direction along the property line separating
the properties of Willie Campbell and Lawson Riley to the center-
line of a 16.5 1 -oat alley, a distance of 198 feet, more or less;
thence in a northerly direction along the centerline of said
alley to the.,nor:th -property line of W: J. Sharp property, a
distance of 294.15 feet, more or less; thence in an easterly
direction along the north property line of the W. J. Sharp
property a distance of 198 feet, more or less to the centerline
of Little Avenue; thence along the centerline of Little Avenue in
a southerly direction a distance of 294.15 feet, more or less, to
the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordi-
nance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause,
the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not
affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose
and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and
provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
