ORDINANCE NO. 83-10- 2433
AN ORDINANCE'"APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION
RESPECTING""THE REZONING.'OF PROPERTY -LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF METCALF LANE, AND AMENDING
THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That "a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on
September 19, 1983, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF
METCALF_LANE", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters
therein get forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment proposed
in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the
comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
_. _ SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is
hereby, -changed from R-3_,. Medium Density Residential Zone to B-3, General Business Zone:
Beginning at_the southeast.corner of the Barbara Riley property line
and being the northeast corner of the property line of Thomas Crosth-
waite; thence in a westerly direction along said property line to the
centerline of Metcalf Lane a distance of 335 feet; thence in a north-
erly direction a distance of 1336.99 feet to a point in the centerline
of Metcalf Lane; thence in an easterly direction along the north
property line of Barry Hagood a distance of 374.33 feet to the north-
east corner of the Barry Hagood property line; thence in a southerly
direction a distance of 1167.57 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall
be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or
invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section,
paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make
each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections,
paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance . shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
