AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF KENNETH HOWLE EXCAVATING TO -SUPPLY THE CITY'S
REQUIREMENT OF GRAVEL THROUGH JULY, 1984
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Kenneth Howle Excavating,
to supply the City's requirement of gravel at pit site, through July, 1984, for the sum of
$0.50 per cubic yard; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications
and advertisement for bids as was authorized by Order passed by the Board of Commissioners
on June 14, 1983 and as contained in the bid of Kenneth Howle Excavating, dated July 7,
1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Kenneth Howle
Excavating for purchase of the gravel authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said gravel shall be charged to General Fund
Account Nos. 001-006-57, Contract Repair Construction; 001-015-69, Flood Construction;
001-018-15, Rental Equipment; 001-020-55, Sanitary Sewers; 001-020-56, Storm Sewers;
001-023-25, Expansion & Development; 00-00-01, Street Paving & Construction; Sewer De-
preciation and Extension Account; Federal Revenue Sharing Account Nos. 002-005-501-94,
Contingency Fund; 002-015-69, Flood Construction; and002-017-54, Street Repair & Con-
struction.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be ef-
fective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
