ORDINANCE NO. 82-5-2238
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION,
PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF ROADS DEDICATED AS A PART OF POTTER SUBDIVISION
WHEREAS, on April 2,1982, the Paducah Planning Commission approved the
closing of roads heretofore dedicated as a part of Potter Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission requeste& the City Commission to
approve the closing of said roads in the Potter Subdivision, except for certain
sections shown in the motion of Paducah Planning Commission.
BE T ORDAINED BY -THE CITY, OF 'PADUCAH; KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.- That,the City'of-Paducah does hereby authorize the'
losing of
all roads dedicated -as a part -of the 'Potter subdivision, and more particularly
described as follows:
BLUEBERRY DRIVE'
A strip of land located. in Potter -Subdi-vision.: -Paducah, McCracken
County, Kentucky, being fifty feet wide, twenty-five feet either
side of a centerline more particularly described as follows:.
Beginning in the Holt Road east right-of-way line at a point 25
feet east of the centerline of Holt Road, said point in
centerline of'Holt Road being located South 0° 1-6' East a
distance of 631.9 feet from the intersection of the centerlines
of Hinkleville Road�(US Highway 60) and Hol-t-Road;:thence from
the point of beginning, along the centerline of Blueberry Drive,
North -89° 44= East a distance of 340:16 feet -to. -the point of
curvature of a 22° 00' curve to the right; thence continuing with
said centerline an arc distance of 409.09 feet to the point of
tangenc� of said curve; thence continuing with said centerline,
South 0 •16' East a distance of 320:21 feet to the intersection
of said centerline and the centerline of Necterine Drive; thence
continuing -with the. centerline'of Blueberry Drive, South 0 16'
East -a distance of 216.38 feet to the ending point in the south
boundary line of the Potter -Subdivision. -
The above described strip of land contains 1.418 -acres.
There are -also included with the above-described right-of-way
those areas at each right-of-way intersection bounded by the
above described parallel right-of=way limits arid`the'arcs
described by a 20' radius.
LEISURE COURT
A strip of land and a cul-de-sac located in Potter Subdivision,
Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky. Said strip of land being
fifty feet wide, twenty -five -feet either side of a centerline
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Blueberry Drive, said
point being located South '0° 16' East a distance -of 631.9• feet,
North 89° 44' East a distance of 340.16 feet, and South 78° 10'
East a distance of 109.,19 feet from the intersection of the
centerlines of Hinkleville Road (US Highway 60) and Holt Road;
thence, from the point of beginning along the centerline of
Leisure Court North 230 56' East a distance of 226.0 feet to a
point; thence North 660 04' East a distance of 25.0 feet to the
center point of a fifty foot radius cul-de-sac.
The above described strip of land contains 0.354 acres.
There are also included with the above described right-of-way
those areas at each right-of-way intersection bounded by the
above described parallel right-of-way limits and the arcs
described at a 20' radius.

NECTARINE DRIVE
The east end of a strip of land located in Potter Subdivision,
Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky, being fifty feet wide,
twenty-five feet either side of a centerline more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of Nectarine Drive, said
point being located North 00 16' West a distance of 25.00 feet
from the northeast corner of the Robert P. & Helen Stratton
property, recorded in Deed Book 517, page 288, said point also
being located South 00 16' East a distance of 1,212.55 feet and
North 89° 44' -East a distance of 290.0` -feet from the intersection
of the centerline of Hinkleville Road (US Highway 60) and Holt
Road; thence from the.point of beginning and with -the centerline
of Nectarine Drive, North 89° 44' East a distance of 310.6 feet
to the intersection of said centerline -and the centerline of
Blueberry Drive; thence continuing with the centerline of
Nectarine Drive, North 89° 44' East a distance of 215.0 feet to
the ending point in the east boundary line of the Potter
Subdivision.
The above-described strip of land contains 0.603 acres, less the
0.057 acres included in the right of way of Blueberry Drive, a
total area of 0:546 acres.
There are also included with the above described right-of-way
those areas at each right-of-way intersection bounded by the
above described parallel right-of-way limits and the arcs
described by a 20' radius.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute,
pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering
the closing of the roads described in Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
