ORDINANCE NO. 82-1-2193
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION
RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 60, WEST OF I-24 AND AMENDING
THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on
January 4, 1982, entitled, "A -RESOLUTION -CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON Highway 60, West
of I-2411, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters
therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah..
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property be, and
it is hereby, changed from R-1, High Density Residential Zone to M-1, Light
Industrial Zone:
PARCEL A.
Beginning at a point in the northerly right-of-way line of U. S.
Highway 60, at the southeastly corner of a parcel of land
formerly owned by Gay; thence north 90° 0 minutes west and along.
said northerly right-of-way line 598.55 feet to a common corner
with -Kindred Subdivision; thence north 10° 20 minutes 53 seconds
west and with the line of Kindred Subdivision 65.68 feet; thence
north 340 1 minute 36 seconds west and with said Subdivision
83.80 feet; thence north 10° 18 minutes 29 seconds west with said
Subdivision 48.81 feet; thence north 140 1 minute 21 seconds east
with said Subdivision 81.14 feet; thence south 890 54 minutes 23
seconds west with said Subdivision 582.32 feet; thence along the
easterly side of Kindred Subdivision the following course and
distances; north 41° 40 minutes 57 seconds east 157.98 feet;
thence north 41° 49 minutes 54 seconds east 691.31 feet; thence
north 41° 2 minutes.56 seconds east 312.78 feet; thence north
41° 3 minutes 18 seconds east 50.65 feet; thence 42° 4 minutes 22
seconds east'325.06 feet; thence north 41° 40 minutes 58 seconds
east 1016.79 feet; thence along the new line south 560 32 minutes
12 seconds east 244.82 feet; thence north 330 27 minutes 48
seconds east 147.45 feet; thence south 560 28 minutes 58 seconds
east 1079.52 feet; thence south 41° 5.8 minutes 35 seconds west
675.25 feet; thence north 57° 17 minutes 52 seconds west 637.88
feet; thence south 26° 45' minutes 57 seconds west 1570.59 feet to
the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the
deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any
other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
