ORDINANCE NO. 82-4-2220
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION
RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON HOLT ROAD AT HIGHWAY 60, AND AMENDING
THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT.ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission on
March 17, 1982, entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON HOLT ROAD AT
HIGHWAY 6011, be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the
matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the.zone classification change and the map amendment
proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement
with the.comprehensive plan of the City -of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the.following property be, and -
it is hereby, changed from R-1, Low Density Residential Zone to HBD, Highway Business
District Zone:
Beginning at a point in the easterly side of the Holt Road, a common
corner to the lands of J. I. Potter and thelands of Glen L.
Titsworth; thence in a northerly direction and with the easterly
right-of-way line of Holt Road, 1071.65. feet to a point; thence in an
easterly direction, 187.62 feet; thence in a northeasterly direction,
13.54 feet; thence.in a southerly direction, 100 feet; thence in a
northeasterly direction, 647..65 feet to the property of Kings Inn;
thence in a southerly direction, 1300.77 feet to the property of Glen
L. Titsworth; thence in a westerly direction and with the property
line of Glen L. Titsworth, 792.22 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance
shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the
deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any
other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this
ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable
from all other sections, paragraphs, and provisions.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be
effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
