Home My WebLink About81-10-2160190 ORDINANCE NO. 81-10-2160 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF H & A CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. TO SUPPLY THE CITY'S REQUIREMENT OF GRAVEL FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR, FOR THE SUM OF $3.67 PER CUBIC YARD, DELIVERED TO ANY DESIGNATED PLACE IN THE CITY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of H & A Construction Company, Inc. for furnishing the City's requirement of gravel for a period of one year, for the sum of $3.67 per cubic yard, delivered to any designated place in the City; said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by the Board of Commissioners on September 8, 1981, and as contained in the bid of H $ A Construction Company, dated September 24, 1981. SECTION 2. That the- Mayor be, and.he is -hereby,-. authorized to execute a contract with H & A Construction-Campany,.Inc.,.for purchase of the gravel authorized in Section 1 above, according. t_o.the.specifi.cations, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid. SECTION 3. The purchase price for said gravel -shall be charged to General Fund Account Nos. 001-006-.57, Contract Repair Construct -ion; 001-015-68-, Flood Construction; 001-018-15, Rental_Equipment.; 0-01-020-55, Sanitary Sewers; 001-020-56, Storm Sewers; 001-023-25, Expansion $ Development; -.0.0-00-011,. Street Paving & Construction; Sewer Depreciation and Extension Account; Federal Revenue -Sharing Account Nos. 00.2-005-501-94, Contingency Fund;. 002 -015 -69, -Flood -Construction;- and 002-017-54, Street Repair & Construction.
