ORDINANCE NO. 81-7-2125
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY LYING
BETWEEN BROADWAY AND KENTUCKY AVENUE AND BETWEEN NINTH STREET AND
WALTER JETTON BOULEVARD
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION T. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing
of an alley lying between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue and between Ninth Street
and Walter Jetton Boulevard, and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the north right-of-way line of
Kentucky Avenue and the west right-of=way line of a 13 foot
alley,, said point being located 173.5 feet east of the. east right-
of-way line of Walter Jetton. Blvd.; thence in a northerly direction
with. the west right -of -wap line of -.said alley a distance of 144
feet to the north end of said alley, thence in an easterly direction
a: distance - of 13 feet to the -east right-of-way line of said alley;
thence in a southerly direction with said alley east right-of-way
line a distance of ' 144 feet to the north -right-of-way line of Ken-
tucky Avenue; thence in a westerly direction along the 'north
right-of-way of Kentucky Avenue a distance of 13 . feet to the point
- of beginning
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
be, and he is hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute,
pursuant to KRS 82.405, an action in the McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment
ordering the. closing of the alley described in Section 1 above. _ - -
SECTION '3. This -ordinance shall be read on two separate -days and will
be effective ' upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof. -
