ORDINANCE NO'. 81-6-2106
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF JIMAR PAVING COMPANY FOR
RESURFACING VARIOUS STREETS IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH' SERVICES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: .
SECTION 1.
That the City
of'Paducah accept
the bid of Jimar
Paving Company
for resurfacing various
streets in the
City of Paducah,
Kentucky, - for the
following
prices:
Surface, 8000 tons '@ $27.25
Primer L, 1,000 gallons @ $1.25
Tack Coat, 6, 000 gal. @ $1.00
DGA-Base, 500 tons @ $11.00
DGA-Shoulders $00 tons .@ $11.00
Manholes adjustment, -20� each, - @ .$2Z5: 00

said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board- of Commissioners
on April 21, 1981, and as .contained -in, the: bid: of Jimar Paving Company, -dated
May 20- 1981.
SECTION2., That the Mayor be, and he is '.hereby, authorized to execute
a contract with-Jimar Paving Company for the service authorized in Section '1 above,
according to the specification, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved. and. incorporated in the bid;
SECTION 3-. The purcha's.e price -for said services; shall .be charged to Federal
Revenue Sharing Street Paving & Construction and/or Municipal Aid Program Funds.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
be effective upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
