ORDINANCE NO. 81-4-2079
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 1419 FRIEDMAN LANE, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -
1976 SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That' a resolution" adopted by the -Paducah Planning
Commission on' March 16; 1981, -entitled; "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE
FINAL REPORT "OF 'THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED
REZONING OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1419 FRIEDMAN LANE"', be approved
as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That the zone classification change and the map amend-
ment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be
in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah.
SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following property
be, and it is hereby, changed from R-2, Low/Medium Density Residential to
R-4, High Density Residential Zone:
Beginning at a point in the center line of Friedman Lane at
the intersection of said center line with an extension of the
line separating the properties of Ray Beaton and William O.
Walker; thence in a westerly direction and with the line of
separation of the properties of Beaton and Walker 330 feet to
a point in the easterly property line of William Skinner; thence
in a northerly direction and with Skinner line 454.95 feet to
a point in the property line of Marie Robertson; thence in an
easterly direction and with the Robertson line 73.14 feet to the
northwesterly corner of property owned by the City of Paducah;
thence in a southerly direction and with the City of Paducah
property 140.55 feet; thence in an easterly direction and with
the City, of Paducah property line 255.72 feet to a point in
Friedman Lane which at that point is not the center line of
Friedman Lane but is in proximity thereto; thence in a southerly
direction along a line which begins 55.72 feet east of and paral-
lel to the westerly right of way line of Friedman Lane and, as
Friedman Lane narrows, along a line which becomes the center
line of Friedman Lane, to the point of beginning.
SECTION '4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this
ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any
cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision
shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being
the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section,
paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs
and provisions.
