ORDINANCE NO. 84-5-2510
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE CLOSING OF AN ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN SOUTH 26TH AND 2
STREETS, NORTH OF OHIO STREET
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah does hereby authorize the closing of an alley
located between South 26th and 27th Streets, north of Ohio Street, and more particularly describe
as follows:
Beginning at a point on the northwest corner of Sue McIntosh property line and
the north right-of-way line of Ohio Street; thence in a westerly direction
along Ohio Street right-of-way line, a distance of 20 feet to the east pro-
perty line of John Little; thence in a northerly direction and along said
property line of John Little and the east property line of
M. W. Rodekohr, a distance of 168 feet to a point in the south right-of-way
line of a 20 foot alley; thence in an easterly direction, a distance of 22
feet to the west property line of Sue McIntosh; thence in a southerly
direction, a distance of 162 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That the Corporation Counsel of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be, and he
hereby, authorized, empowered and directed to institute and prosecute, pursuant to KRS 82.405,
action in McCracken Circuit Court for a judgment ordering the closing of the alley described in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective up(
publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
