AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF NICHOLS ELECTRIC CO., LLC
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A NEW EMERGENCY GENERATOR TO BE INSTALLED AT
FIRE STATION NO. 1, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Nichols Electric Co.,
LLC in the amount of $83,900, for the purchase of a new emergency generator to be installed at
Fire Station No. 1, said bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and
advertisement for bids, as contained in the bid of Nichols Electric Co., LLC as of June 10, 2014.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an agreement for the
purchase of the emergency generator, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the
specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in
the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to FI0026 Project Account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
