ORDINANCE NO. 84-1-2458
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF ASPHALT PAVING, INC'., FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS
EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH RENTAL
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Asphalt Paving, Inc.,
for rental of the following equipment, at the following per hour prices:
Excavator, $70.00
Dump Truck, (single axle), $35.00
Track Loader, $50.00
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement
for bids as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on
November 22, 1983, and as contained in the bid of Asphalt Paving, Inc., dated December
21. 1983. Gi
That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Asphalt
Paving, Inc., for rental of the equipment listed above, according to the speci-
fications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated
in the bid.
The purchase price for said rental equipment shall be charged to
Account.Numbers 10-500-320-369, Flood.Construction; 20-500-330-354, Street Paving and
Construction; 10-500-340-354, Street Paving; 10-500-610-525, Expansion and Development,
Parks Department; and 10-5.00-420-215, Refuse Rental of Equipment.
This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be ef-
fective.upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
