ORDINANCE NO. 85-9-2737
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF APPLIED PRODUCTS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $44.00 EACH
FOR 360 ROLLOUT CONTAINERS AND IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,100.00 EACH FOR TWO (2) MECHANICAL DUMP
UNITS, FOR SALE TO THE CITY FOR USE BY THE REFUSE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Applied Products, Inc., in the
amount of $$44.00 each for 360 Rollout Containers and in the amount of $2,100.00 each for two
(2) mechanical dump units to be used by the Refuse Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with the bid specifications and advertisement for bids as was authorized by
Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on July 9, 1985, and as contained in the
bid of Applied Products, Inc., of July 30, 1985.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with Applied Equipment,
Inc. for sale to the City of 360 rollout containers and two (2) mechanical dump units,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION -3. The purchase price for rollout containers and dump units shall be charged
to Account No. 20-500-420-514.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
