ORDINANCE NO. 85-2-2645
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WAHL'S EXCAVATING COMPANY, FOR RENTAL OF VARIOUS
EQUIPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH RENTAL
BE..IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Wahl's Excavating Company, for
rental of the following equipment, at the following per hour prices:
Backhoe, $42.50 Dump truck (Tandem axle), $42.00
Motor Grader, -$47.25 Pneumatic Roller, $42.00,
said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications>and.advertisement for bids
as was authorized by Municipal Order passed by the Board of Commissioners on November 22, 1983,
and as contained in the bid of Wahl's Excavating, dated December 20, 1983.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor abe authorized to execute a contract with Wahl's
Excavating for rental of the equipment listed above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. The purchase price for said rental equipment shall be charged to Account
Numbers 10-500-320-369 - Flood Construction; 20-500-33.0-354 - Street Paving & Construction;
10-500-340-354 - Street Paving; 10-500-610-525 - Expansion & Development, Parks Department;
10-500-420-215 - Refuse Rental of Equipment; 10-500-150-494 Contingency Fund; 10-500-160-257
- Contract Repair Construction; 10-500-430-525 - Expansion & Development; 10-500-440-3.55 -
Sanitary Sewers; 10-500-440-356 - Storm Sewers; 20-500-240-274 - Trees, Weeds & Debris; and the
Sewer Depreciation and Extension Fund.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will be effective
upon publication of title and a certified summary thereof.
