WORKSHOP
BRIEFING ON ISO REVIEW PROCESS
Mike Rundell, ISO field Representative, explained the ISO (Insurance Services Office, Inc.)
process and what it does for the City. Mr. Rundell will be here for 2 to 3 days collecting data
for a survey that is part of a continuing program to keep insurance classifications up-to-date
for communities that provide public fire protection. This data will be collected to determine a
fire insurance classification that may used in the calculation of property insurance
premiums. Data will be collected regarding water supply and distribution system, fire
department manning, equipment and training and means for receiving and handling fire
alarms. The lower the classification, the better for the City.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
