H-ornsby, Puryear an d Mayor Cherry (5) . Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by -Commissioner Fisher, that ,the reading of the Minutes for April 27th and 30th, 1971 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor. Cherry- (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the Contract Addendum dated April 30, 1971, which amends a contract dated, May 10, 1970, between the City of Paducah, Kentucky and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO Local 1586, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the Contract Addendum date& April 30, 1971, which amends a contract dated May 10, 1970, between the Board of Parks, Playground and ,Recreation of Paducah, Kentucky, and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees AFL-CIO Local -1586, be received and filed. - Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5). Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher;,:that the executed copy of the Contract between the City of Paducah and Sanco Corporation for sa to the City of a 1971 Ford truck with 25 cubic yard dempster dumpster compactor, for use in•the Refuse Division of the Public works Department, be received and, -filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Harvey, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (5) . Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Hamock Funeral Home of the south one-half of Lot No. 415 in Block No. 6 of the Rushing Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and that the City Clerk be authorized to execute a.deed of conveyance to -said cemeterygrave. I further move that the City Treasurer be directed to publish a condensed form of said audit report. Laverne Meriwether, senior clerk in the Finance Office, be promoted to Assistant License Inspector 'in said Department, retroactive to May 3, 1971. 3. Ruth Dodge, clerk -stenographer in the Finance Office, be promoted to Secretary in said Department, retroactive to May 3; 1971.
