Commissioner Fisher offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey,- that the s 'following personnel changes be made: 1. The following persons be employed as temporary pump operators in the Floodwall Department of the City of Paducah, at a salary of $2.00 per hour: Fern L. Roberts effective February 24, 1971 Richard Bowerman, effective February 25, 1971 Louie Armstrong, effective February 25, 1971 Donald Perdue, effective March 8, 1971 Henry Rucks, effective March 8, 1971 2. James Thompson, Foreman in the Street Division of the Public Works Department, be promoted to Assistant'Director of Public Works, at a salary of $650.00 per month, retroactive to March 8, 1971. 3.Steve Allen Burgess be employed as chainman in the Engineering Department, atla., salary of $414.00 per month, retroactive to March 1, 1971. 4. Thomas A. Nickols be employed as foreman in the Street Division of the Public Works Department, at a salary of $560.00 per month, effective March 15, 1971. Smith, chainman in the Engineering Department, be placed under civil service for such position, effective March 8, 1971. FOR THE SALE TO THE CITY OF COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT TO BE USED IN THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURPOSE", be adopted.
