At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber,
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 P.M. on October 13, 1970, Mayor Cherry
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners,:-.,
Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4), Commissioner Harvey being absent (1)
Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that the reading
of the Minutes for September 8, September 18 and October 6, 1970 be waived and that the
Minutes of said meetings prepared by the city Clerk be approved as written. Adopted
on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).

Mayor Cherry made the following appointments: It appearing that three vacancies

Cherry of the approval by the Kentucky Crime Commission of the City of Paducah's
application for a $1,808.00 grant for a Police Consolidation Records and Identificatioi-',
Project, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).

Mayor Cherry offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Fisher, that a resolution
entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CHIEF OF POLICE TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION FOR AN ACTION GRANT WITH THE KENTUCKY CRIMEI`COMMISSION FOR A POLICE
COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4)

WITH COMPUTER SERVICES, INC. TO PROVIDE PAYROLL SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE (5) YEARS", be introduced and remain on file -for at
least one (1) week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be
put upon its final passage. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher,
Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).

ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
LITTLETON, INC. AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF SITE
IMPROVEMENTS IN THE OAKLAWN CODE ENFORCEMENT AREA OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
WHICH CONTRACT WAS AUTHORIZED BY ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS DATED JUNE 24,
1969", be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public inspection
in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, Adopted on call
of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Fisher, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor Cherry (4).

CITY OF ONE (1) 1971 ONE-HALF TON PICKUP TRUCK TO BE USED AS A PATROL AND PADDY WAGON
FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR
SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file for at least one (1) week for public
