Mayor- McNutt offered motion,, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby.,, that the executed copies of,-th-e Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4:30 p.m.- on November 7, 1972, be, re.ceiv-ed. and,- filed. - -,Adopted .on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commi-ssioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, -Puryear and Mayor McNutt- (5) - Mayor McNutt made the following appointments: Glenn Hollis, Connie Sue Orr and Keith Mathis.having-resigned as -members of --the Youth Advisory Committee, I hereby appoint Mary Humm, William_Ferron and .Barbara Lackeyll to serve as members of said Committee for indefinite terms. May'or McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that 'the bids for a Cable TV Franchise submitted by See Mor Cable TV; Paducah Cable Communications Inc., and Consolidated TV Cable Service, Inc., which bids were received and filed by this Board on September 12,1972, be, and the same are hereby, rejected. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,- Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5). Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCIE ACCEPTING THE BID'OF PETER PIRSCH AND SONS COMPANY FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF `TWO (2) 1,250 GALLON PER MINUTE PUMPING.ENGINE WITH DIESEL ENGINE AND CAB FORWARD OVER ENGINE CHASSIS, FOR USE IN -THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT, WITH ONE TO BE DELIVERED IN THE YEAR 1973 AND ONE TO'; -BE DELIVERED IN THE YEAR 1974, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SUCH PURCHASE", be introduced and remain on file for one week for public inspectioxi'in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage.
