At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:30 p.m. on October 31, 1972, Mayor McNutt
resided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioner:

Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5),
Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed
copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4:30 p.m. on October 31, 1972,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
reports of the Paducah Water Works for the month of October, 1972, be received and
filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5),
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
.following personnel changes be made:

4. Anna M. Nichols be employed as temporary clerk -typist in_the,Street Department,
at a salary of $2,00 per hour, retroactive to October 25, 1972,
5. The following persons be employed as collectors in the Refuse Department, at a
salary of $2.50 per hour, effective November 6, 1972:

Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, Hornsby
Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
"Attachment to the Paducah Grant Application to Develop Open Space Land (KY -1031 -OS)",
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).

Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that an
ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
PADUCAH WATER WORKS FOR EXTENSION OF A WATER LINE TO THE PADUCAH LANDFILL SITE", be
introduced and remain on file for public inspection for one week in the completed form
in which it shall be put upon its final passage. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that an
ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED 'AN
ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A 20 FOOT STRIP OF LAND ACROSS FOUR LOTS OF
WILLIAM E. ROETTEIS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PHILLIPS AVENUE, IN CONSIDERATION FOR FREE
SANITARY SEWER TAP -ONS', WHICH ORDINANCE WAS ADOPTED OCTOBER 10, 1972", be adopted.

Mayor McNutt (5) .
rty/" Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that an -ordinance
entitled "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION
RESPECTING THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF CLAY STREET
BETWEEN 12TH AND 13TH STREETS, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971 SO AS
TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commission-
ers Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
On motion the meeting adjourned.
