in the,_Ci-ty Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 p.m. on October 3,.-1972; Mayor McNutt
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commission-
ers Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt -(5),
Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by'C'ommissioner Hornsby,, that the
executed copies ,of the. Notice. of Called Meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m,' on October 3,
1972, be received and filed. Adopted on-call of -the Roll,.Yeas, Commissioners
Harvey,: -Hornsby. Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
executed copy of the contract between the City of Paducah and Paducah Power Sy.sten
for sale to the City of a 1963 Ford truck with Holan bucket, be received and filed.
Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey-, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear a
Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Harvey coffered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
letter dated October 3, 1972, from H. B. Gibbons, Secretary to the Commissioners of
Water Works, requesting that the City proceed at the earliest possible -date in
passing an ordinance offering for sale $685,000 Paducah Water Works Revenue Bonds', be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
following personnel changes be made:
1. Paul Moore, building inspector, be placed under civil service for such position,
retroactive to October 2, 1972, provided by such time he furnishes, at his
expense, -a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition:
2. Wayne Upshaw, city engineer, be placed under civil service for such position,
retroactive to October 2, 1972, provided by such time he furnishes, at his
expense, a satisfactory medical report as to his physical condition.

reports of the Paducah Water Works for the month of September, 1972, be received 'and
