At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 p.m. on Auggst 29, 1972, Mayor McNutt
presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners
Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed
copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on August 29, 1972,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Mayor McNutt made the following appointment: Ernest Mitchall having resigned as a
member of the Paducah -McCracken County Recreational, Tourist and Convention Commission,
I hereby appoint Thomas W. Wilson a member of said Commission to fill the unexpired
term of the said Ernest Mitchell, so that said Commission will now consist of the
following members to serve the following prescribed terms:

Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
letter of resignation of Milton M. Livingston, Jr., as Assistant Corporation Counsel,
Police Court, dated August 25, 1972, be received, filed and accepted with regret,
effective August 31, 1972. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert., Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, as follows:
on recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following personnel
change be made:
Raymond Larson be employed as Assistant Corporation Counsel,
Police Court, at- a monthly salary of $433.00 effective September 1,-1972.

Commissioner -Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
executed copy of the contract between McCracken County and the City of Paducah, for the.
use of approximately 100 acres of county property for City landfill, be received,
approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby,!
Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).

remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it
