At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
in -the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 5:00: P.M. on March 21, 1972-, Mayor Protein
Puryear presided in the absence of Mayor McNutt, and upon call of the Roll the fol.lowi
answered to their names: Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert and Mayor Protem
Puryear (4) .
Mayor Protem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner -Hornsby, -that the
executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 5:00 p.m., on March 21,
1972, be received and filed. Adopted..on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert, and Mayor Protem Puryear (4).
Ra-ymi._P otem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
reading of the Minutes for March -l4 1972 be.waived and -that the -Minutes of' said
meeting peepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the
Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert.and Mayor Protem Puryear (4).
Commissioner Harvey offered motion seconded•:by Commissioner Hornsby, that -the'
Audit Report of the Paducah Public Library' for the .year ending De.cezpber 31, 1971,
prepared by Williams, Wi-lliams and Lentz, be received and filed. Adopted on call of
the Roll, Yeas, ' Commissioners Harvey; _Hornsby, . Lambert and Mayor Protem-Puryear (4) .

Commissioner Harvey offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
executed copy of the Lease between the City_ of Paducah., Kentucky, and the. -Civic
Beautification Board for the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to the Market House Building
situated on South Second Street between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue, be received and
filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
and Mayor Protem Puryear (4).
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that a c
of the motion adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission recommending closing of porti
of Mason Street, 29th Street, Laclede Avenue and alleys located within the ares, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby,
Lambert and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) .
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City to Mrs. Anna Brown of a two grave
tract of land, being 8 x 10 feet, and being a part of Lot No. 21 in Section 3 of the
Mausoleum Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $400.00, and that the City Cle
be authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery property. Adopted on cal
