A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM II GRANT APPLICATION IN
ASSOCIATION WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTERED
BY THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT SEEKING AN
AMOUNT UP TO $2,000,000, FOR THE ACQUISITIONS, RENOVATION, AND
REDEVELOPMENT OF FORECLOSED AND/OR ABANDONED PROPERTIES WITHIN
THE CITY OF PADUCAH
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Neighborhood
Stabilization Program II Grant Application and all documents relating to same, in association
with the Department of Local Government administered by the Department of Housing and
Urban Development seeking an amount up to $2,000,000, for the acquisitions, renovation,
and redevelopment of foreclosed and/or abandoned properties within the City of Paducah.
No local cash match is required, however interim construction financing will be required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
