A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE APPLICATION OF A 2009 U.S. BULLETPROOF
VEST PARTNERSHIP GRANT AWARD FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
FOR ASSISTANCE WITH THE PURCHASE OF BODY ARMOR TO BE USED BY THE
CITY OF PADUCAH'S POLICE DEPARTMENT'S EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a 2009 U.S. Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant Award
from the U.S. Department of Justice for assistance with the purchase of body armor to be used by
the City of Paducah's Police Department's Emergency Response Team. This grant will
reimburse the City up to $11,100.00 for the purchase of body armor.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
