Request bids tires P At a Called Meeting of the -Board of Commissioners: Yield in :the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 4:30 p.m. on December 4, 1973, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) Mayor McNutt offered motion. seconded by Commissioner Hornsby-, that the executed copies of the Notice of Called Meeting to be held at 4: 30 p.m. on December 4, 1973, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the reports of the Paducah Water Works for the month of November, 1973, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that upon the recommendation of the City Manager, the following personnel changes be made: 1. Dennis Anderson, sewer maintenance man in the Street Department, be placed under civil service for such position, retroactive to October 29, 1973. 2. Doug Harrall, temporary laborer in the Maintenance Department, be terminated, retroactive to November 21, 1973. 3. Lawrence Smitmier be employed as G m Supervisor in the Parks Department, at a Y P P salary of $15.00 per session, effective November 26, 1973. 4. Billy Copeland, temporary laborer in the Street Department, be reassigned as a permanent laborer in said department, effective December 10, 1973. 5. The following persons be employed as temporary clerks in the Finance Department, at a salary of $275.00 per month: Mrs. Pauline Slankard, effective December 17, 1973 Mrs. Dorothy L. Borton, effective December 17, 1973 Mrs. Linda R. Ryan, effective January 14, 1974 Mrs. Janet A. Metzger, effective January 14, 1974. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) NEW 1974 FOUR DOOR STATION WAGON FOR USE IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that a resolution entitled "A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR FURNISHING THE CITY OF PADUCAH WITH ITS REQUIREMENT OF NEW AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK TIRES, FOR THE PERIOD OF TIME FROM JANUARY 1, 1974 TO DECEMBER 31, 197411, be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . FOR THE SUM OF $124.50, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED", be adopted. --Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) .
