Roosevelt Nunn - reinstated Gary Martin terminated Ricky Wayne Burg terminated Clarence Brock resignation Dexter Martin to Collector -Refuse chy of August 28', 121 At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7: 30 P.M. , -on August 28, 1973, Mayor McNutt presided and upon call of the Roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) , Commissioner Harvey being absent (1) . Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading of the Minutes for August 14 and 21, 1973 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4). Mayor McNutt made the following appointment: Rev. Francis Howard having resigned as a member of the Human Rights Commission, I hereby appoint Rev. Jim Stubbs a member of said Commission to fill the unexpired term of Rev. Howard, which term will expire April 13, 1974. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Mayor McNutt made the following appointment: Gary Arant having resigned as a member of the Paducah -McCracken County Recreational, Tourist and Convention Commission, I hereby appoint Larry Mollhoff as a member of said Commission to fill'the unexpired term of the said Gary Arant , so that said Commission will now consist of the following members :to serve the following prescribed terms: Douglas Rose 3 year term expiring December 31, 1973 Coy Stacey 3 year term expiring, December 31, 1973 Harold Van Morgan, Sr. 3 year term expiring December 31, 1974 Merilyn Keesee 3 year term, -expiring_December 31, 1974 Larry Mollhoff 3 year term expiring December 31, 1974 Thomas W. Wilson 4 year term expiring December 31, 1974 Ernie Long 4 year term expiring December 31, 1974 Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that upon the recommendation of the City Manager and the Chief ,of. Police, patrolman William Pinnegar be promoted to sergeant, effective September 3, 1973, at a salary of $655.00 per month. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) . Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert as follows: Upon the recommendation of the City Manager, I move that the following personnel changes be made: 1. Roosevelt Nunn be reinstated as collector in the Refuse Division, at a salary of $2.68 per. hour, retroactive.. to, August 24, 1973.. 2. -Gary-Martin, temporary collector in the. Refuse Department, be terminated, effective August 28, 1973. 3. Ricky Wayne Burgess, temporary laborer in. the Street Department, be terminated retroactive to. August 21;. 197,3 . 4. The resignation of Clarence Brock, truck driver in the.Street.Department, be. accepted, retroactive to•August 3, 1973. 5. Dexter Martin, temporary laborer in the Refuse Department, be promoted to collector in said Department, at a salary of $2.68, per hour,, effective September 3, 1973. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear, and Mayor McNutt (4) . a No. Proceedings of Board of Commissioners City of Paducah August 28, 1973 Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, Sell Graves' Mausoleum Add that the Board of Commissioners approve the sale,by the City of Paducah to Don J. & Helen Peak Don J & Helen Peak of a tract; of ground 8 x 10 feet, located at the northwest corner of Lot No. 17 in Section 3 of the Mausoleum Addition to ,Oak Grove Cemetery for the sum of $400.00 (Receipt No. 14811) and that .the City.
