deed dated February 16, 1973, from John P. Campbell to the City of Paducah for a parcel of
ground located at the Southeast intersection of Langstaff Avenue and 14th Street for use as a
City Park, which deed has been recorded in Deed Book 553, page 196 in the McCracken County
Court Clerk's office, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
resignation of Carrol E. Walden as a member of the Paducah Board of Adjustment, be received,
accepted and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the
bids of Tilford Plumbing & Heating, Inc. dated June 21, 1973, and W. L. Hailey & Company, Inc.
dated June 21, 1973, for the construction of sewer extensions to Coleman Road Industrial Site,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby,
Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that upon
the recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel changes be made:
1. Donnie Hester, patrolman in the Police Department, be transferred to the Crime
Scene Unit of said d'epartrnent, retroactive to June.251, 1973, at. -no chahge l 'current salary.'
2. Sgt. Francis Burch of the'_Paducah Police+Department, be transferred to the Crime,.

Scene Unit of said department, effective July 9, 1973, at no change in current salary.
3. That Glenda Shelby James be employed as metermain in the Paducah Police Department,
effective July 16, 1973, at*a salary of $430.00 per month.

of the motion adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission, recommending that the portion of
South Central Avenue lying between Country Club Lane and Valley Road not be closed, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
executed copy of the contract dated June 6, 1973, between the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and
Harper and Arterburn, for construction of Street Improvements - 1973, Contract No. 2, be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .

LOCATED IN CITY HALL, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH A
