in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, atT.30:-p.m. on.'J-une 12, -1973, Mayor McNutt presided

Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading
of the Minutes for May 22, 30 and June 6, 1973 be.waived and"that Ahe Minutes of said meetings
prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,

signed by residents and shoppers of -the 'Greater Paducah,. Kentucky area, protesting showing
of "X" rated movies by the Fourth Street Cinema,, be<received and°filed. ' Adopted on call of the

Certificate of Insurance issued by-Na.tiona;I Surety Corporation to'the'Ci,ty of Paducah covering
work done by E. J. Roper until June 16, 1974, be received,,approved and filed. Adopted on call

I move that the City pay the claim of Bob Gilbert in the amount of $90.01 for damages
sustained to his 1972 Vega Automobile as a..aresuatof :its striking a<manhole:on Minnich Avenue
on June 6, 1973.
I further move that prior to making said payment the City Treasurer obtain- a complete
and final release.. Adopteet�on call ,of the Roll, Yeas-, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutU(5) .

/ 11. Thomas Rothrock, Jr., an Applicant -candidate in the Fire Department, has

an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE CREATING DIVISION 3 'SEPTIC TANK WASTE' OF
ARTICLE 111 'SEWER SERVICE CHARGES' OF CHAPTER 32 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, BY CREATING NEW SECTIONS KNOWN AS SECTIONS
32.70 ET SEQ. OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY",
be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5) .
Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that
an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH
PLANNING- COMMISSION RESPECTING THEAMEN,DMENT;OF SECTION -62-1. SUB -SECTION 62.05
OF THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE -1971, AND AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE", be adopted.

ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE. COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY
FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF -HIGHWAYS, TO PURCHASE THE INTEREST
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND LOCATED ALONG U.. S. HIGHWAY 60,
FOR THE SUM OF $400.00, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A
