Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Harvey, that the
bid of Manning Equipment, Inc. for sale to the City of three (3) Material Spreaders,
be received and filed, Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey,
Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
�= ff, Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that a cop
of the proposed Cooperating Agreement between the City of Paducah, Kentucky and the
Urban Renewal and Community Development Agency of Paducah, Kentucky, be received,
approved and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby,
Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that the
Release and Certification of Tilford Plumbing and Heating, Inc., dated March 21, 1973,
acknowledging full payment by the City to the contractor and certifying full payment
by the contractor for all labor and material for the Kennedy -Lone Oak Road Sewer
Extension Project, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (5).
Commissioner Lambert offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that upon
,the recommendation of the City Manager, the following personnel changes be made:
1. Henry C. Hodges, equipment operator in the Street Department, be reclassified as
foreman in said department, effective April 2, 1973, at a salary of $635.00
per month.
2. Paul E. Roberts, concrete finisher in the Street Department, be reclassified as
foreman in said department, effective April 2, 1973, at a salary of $635.00 per
month.

3. Tommy Rothrock, Jr, be employed as Applicant -Candidate in the Fire Department,
effective April 16, 1973, at a salary of $395.00 per month, provided by such +:
time he furnishes, at his expense, a 'satisfa-ctory medical _report as to his
physical condition including an electrocardiogram.
4. Charles D. McGregor, firefighter in the Fire Department, be promoted to lidutena nt.
in said department, effective April 9,.-1973, at a salary of $655.00 ,permonth.
. 5. Guy R. Deen, lieutenant in the Fire-Department,'be promoted to Captain in said
department, effective April 9, 1973, at a salary of $700.00 per month.
6. Richard Hancock be employed in the non -civil service position of Fire Alarm
operator in the Paducah Fire Department, effective April 16, 1973, at a salary
of $510 per month.
7. Tommie Wooley be reclassified from Chief mechanic to garage foreman in the Street
Department, effective April 2, 1973 -at -a salary -of $635.00 per :month.
8. Arline F. Adams be employed as bicycle instructor in'the Parks Department, at a
salary of $7.00 per session, effective April 2, 1973.

Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
Board of Commissioners approve the sale by the City of Paducah to Hattie Lewis of the
northeast corner of Lot No. 131 in Block No. 9 of the Rushing Addition to;Oa.k.Grove
Cemetery for the sum of $100.00 (Receipt No. 11543) and that the City Clerk be
authorized to execute a deed of conveyance to said cemetery grave. Adopted on call
of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Harvey, Hornsby, Lambert, Puryear and Mayor McNutt

Commissioner Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Lambert, that the
claim of WDXR-TV in the amount of $964.76 for damage to its transmission tower caused
by being struck by a City refuse vehicle, be allowed, and that the City Treasurer be
authorized to pay said claim after first obtaining a complete and final release.
