MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1768
A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR A 2014
LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,000.00,
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FOR
DEVELOPMENT OF THE 14TH STREET PARK PROJECT PHASE I
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an application and all
documents relating to same, requesting a 2014 Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant in the
amount of $75,000.00 through the Kentucky Governor's Office for Local Development for
development of the 14d' Street Park Project Phase I. Phase I consists of excavation/grading of the
property and the creating of a multi -use open area for field sports and free play.
SECTION 2. Local matching funds in the cash amount of $75,000.00 will be
from an appropriation in the FY 2014 budget. The City will also provide $13,500 in in-kind
services for the project.
SECTION 3. This order will be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
