At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held -in the Commission Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, ay '7: 30 P.M., on June 25, 1974, Mayor McNutt presided
and upon call of the Roll the
p following answered, to.their names: .Commissioners Coleman,
Hornsby,, Puryear and Mayor McNutt- (4), Commissioner Brumley being absent.
Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading
of the Minutes for June 11 and June A, 1974 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings
prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Hornsby, Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) .
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
formal request of David Jeffords and William McManus for arbitration of their grievances be
received and filed. Adopted on call of the ' Roll , Yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Hornsby,
Puryear and Mayor McNutt (4) .
Commissioner Coleman offered 'motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the
claim of Mrs. Mayme Ford in the amount of $350.00; for damage to her 1966 automobile caused
when struck by a Refuse Department ' '

dman on June 6, 1974
in the parking lot at the rear of the Noble Park Apartments, be approved, and that the `City
Treasurer be authorized to pay said claim after first obtaining a complete and final release.

Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Puryear, that
upon recommendation of the City Manager the following change be made in personnel:
Dennis W. McCoy, truck driver in the street department, be promoted to
concrete_ finisher in the same department, retroactive to June 24, 1974.

in the Basket Room, at $1.50 per ,hour, effective June 21, 1974.
4. Lonnie; Herriford, part-time Recreation Leader in the Parks Department, be
terminated, effective June 24, 1974.
5. The resignation of 'Carolyn Russelburg, Clerk -typist in the Personnel Department
be accepted, effective June_ 21, 1974.

Residential Zone, .to. R-4, High Density Residential :Zone-,_ be received, approved and filed.

THE PURCHASE .OF TWO (2),, FOUR DOOR. COMPACT STATION .WAGONS FOR USE BY THE FIRE
DEPARTMENT, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON -.WHICH SUCH PURCHASE SHALL BE MADE",

FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SWIMMING POOL AND BATH HOUSE TO BE LOCATED AT KOLB PARK
IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UPON WHICH A
CONTRACT MAY BE LET", be adopted. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners
