Mayor Protem Puryear offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading of the Minutes for April, 9 and 16, 1974 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings prepared by the City Clerk be approved as written. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, . Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) . Commissioner Brumley offered motion., seconded by Commissioner Coleman, that, the Board of Commissioners approve_ the sale by the City of Paducah to Mrs. Harley Hall of a parcel of ground 8 feet by 10 feet, being the northeast and the southeast corners of Lot No. 90 in Section 6 in Oak Grove Cemetery .for the. sum of_ $200.00 (Receipt Nos. 18017 and 18018) , ,and that the City Clerk be authorized to, execute a deed of ..conveyance to said cemetery graves. Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Brumley, that upon recommendation of the City Manager the following personnel changes be made: 1. Wallace Leon Ferguson be employed as temporary laborer in the Street Department at a salary of $2.10 per hour, retroactive to April 17, 1974. 2. Keith Thomas Mick be employed as temporary truck driver in the Parks Department, at a salary of $2.25 per hour, retroactive to April 18, 1974. 3. H. B. Williams be employed as water treatment men in the Parks Department, at a salary of $2.75 per hour, effective May 13, 1974. 4. The following applicant -candidates in the Fire Department, have satisfactorily completed the 60 day training period as such applicant -candidates as provided by ordinance, they are hereby appointed firefighters in the Fire Department, at a salary of $570.00 per month: John L. Guill at 7: 00 a.m., April 29, 1974 Charles Wallis at 7:05 a.m. , April 29, 1974. Adopted on call of the Roll, Yeas, Commissioners Brumley, Coleman, Hornsby and Mayor Protem Puryear (4) .
