At a Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the Commission Chamber
in the City Hall, Paducah, Kentucky, at 7:30 p.m., on April 9, 1974, -Mayor McNutt presided and

Mayor McNutt offered motion, seconded by Commissioner Hornsby, that the reading
of the Minutes for March 26 and April 2, 1974 be waived and that the Minutes of said meetings

WHEREAS, the Kentucky Department of Highways has condemned for right=of-way
right-of-way
along Noble Par
purposes a strip of ground on the north side of U'. S. 60 along Noble Park, and
Highway Dept.
WHEREAS, the condemnation award paid to the city the sum of $2,130.00 for an equipment
shed and a building containing a concession stand and equipment storage, which buildings were
adjacent to the Colt League Baseball field at Noble Park, and
WHEREAS, the shed and building were constructed and erected by donated material and
labor and were used and occupied and needed by the Colt League, and
WHEREAS, the buildings are now required to be removed and it will be necessary to
replace them to the operation of the League,
NOW, THEREFORE, I move that the City Treasurer be, and he is hereby, authorized to
transfer to the said Colt League, in care of Tom Fuqua, its treasurer, the sum of -$2,130. 00
provided the said League agrees to remove 'the said shed and building and either relocate
