A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF
$27,000 FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT'S MOBILE DATA COMPUTER
EXPANSION PROJECT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application
through the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security in the amount of $27,000, for funding the
Paducah Fire Department's Mobile Data Computer (MDC) Expansion Project. The Fire
Department has one MDC in a command vehicle and desires to place a MDC in each of the
remaining 11 vehicles. The Department is phasing the project to make it more fundable and is
requesting funding for purchase and installation of three MDC's at this time. This application
and program does not require any local cash or in-kind match.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
